"Putting the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) into Practice" Thursday 16th February 2012

Places on these one day training courses are now available at a cost of £85.00 per delegate and will take place at the AES office in Hatfield Peverel.

The course will provide delegates with

• an introduction/revisit to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA) and putting the MCA into everyday practice
• understanding of the role of the MCA/IMCA
• understanding of the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and putting DoLS into everyday practice
• understanding of the role of the DoLS/IMCA

Who should attend:

• Advocates
• Care home managers
• Health and Social Care professionals
• Any advice or information staff who deal with enquiries about health and social care provision

These courses will be facilitated by Graham Wilmott of Age UK Essex.
